Pros

Great and helpful leadership along with coworkers. I wish there was a bit more consistency in expectations and conversations but great place to work.

Cons

confusing expectations and different criteria for different people.

Pros

Nice, fun sales team. All are helpful and approachable.

Cons

If you are a sales rep interested in joining the Phoenix office at Sentinel Technologies here are a few things to consider: -You will be grossly underpaid. -Your manager is a mid-twenties sales rep and this is their first and only job since graduating from university. -You have no defined territory and will be expected to drive to the corners of the state to find new business. -You must make “200 dials and 30 donut drops” a week to be successful. To whom? No defined territory means creating and calling a random list from your single sales intelligence tool to hit KPI metrics instead of strategically calling into businesses. -There is no formal sales manager or sales rep training. Your training is to do what your VP and your “team lead” tell you to do. If those things contradict, use your best judgment. -You are better off bringing the Yellow Pages on your first day to prospect -CRM data? good luck. -No creativity or autonomy in the role. You will be "checked in" via a messaging platform and a daily meeting with your team lead to check your activity. The ideal person for this role is someone who recently graduated college, is malleable and is OK taking orders from someone similar in age. This is not the place for seasoned reps. It’s their way or no way.
