Pros

Working for Sentinel Technologies is fantastic. They do a fantastic job of focusing on meeting the needs and exceeding the customers expectations. We have an exceptional group of Engineers with skills across the board. The process for Selling, Designing, Planning and Implementing projects makes a significant difference in the quality and success we have. I also greatly appreciate the leadership team and the amount of interaction we have with them. I am grateful I have the opportunity to work with such a great team.

Cons

Like any business there will always be little nuances that need improving. When i first started at Sentinel, it was our internal ticketing system. There were too many manual processes involved with it. The importance here is that the leadership team heard our feedback and got to work on resolving the nuances, and continues to do so. Knowing that no matter where you go you will find things that could be improved upon, it just makes sense to work at a company that listens to your feedback and acts on it.

A Career, not a Job

Pros

Sentinel is an organization with a management group that interacts with their staff on multiple levels. Because of this, it's a company where employees who excel at their job have the ability to progress in their careers and move up "the ladder". Additionally, the leadership group has an eye for talent, and is accepting of individuals who wish to pursue alternate fields or practices, so long as they pertain to the companies actual services. It's been a fast-paced and great environment to learn, teach and excel as an engineer, and I know individuals in different positions feel the same as well. Sentinel is a great company for workers of all fields, and the hard-workers are recognized and rewarded appropriately. If you're looking for a career, I highly recommend it here.

Cons

Some of the internal systems used by various positions could do with a little updating. But it's not exactly a deal breaker.

Pros

Best work environment of management, peers and colleagues I have ever had an opportunity to work with in my 25 years in the networking/telecommunications industry. Positive atmosphere, can do attitudes. Everyone pitches in, everyone is willing to help. They grow and nurture and collaborate efficiently to make sound business choices for the best win/win outcomes for the team and customers. Great pay, great benefits. Great working rewards and acknowledgments. Flexible, adaptable - but driven management styles... Top Notch organization bottom to top. I feel like I found a home here.

Cons

This is not a "Con", rather another "Pro": It's not that I haven't had a differing opinion, or disagreement, because I have. I was heard, there were discussions. The results are that everything has worked out as it has needed to - and everyone, including myself, continues to benefit and grow from the experiences.
