Pros

This place of employment provides flexible work schedule

Cons

- No pay raises in over 9 years - Extreme Micro management - Create policies without looking at the trickle down effect - results in more policies in a continuous cycle - Bonuses are not individually based nor are they office based but state based- so no matter how hard you work or your office works if someone somewhere else in that state is slacking you're penalized - Management lacks hands on experience to know what the employees deal with daily - Mileage reimbursement is minimal - increased by .02 cents during my employment - close to .20 less than the federal rate of .55 a mile - Workers feel under appreciated and over-worked - management acts like they are interested in the employees but when issues are brought up they are minimized or the - Issue at hand is never addressed, rather a "policy" is made that still doesn't address the issue at hand but creates more issues - Health insurance is terrible - premiums are cheaper post tax if sought through a broker - the premiums are set with the company only providing approx. $200 per paycheck no matter what plan is chosen so that they can then pocket the money for each employee that chooses to seek coverage outside of MENTOR - this means a fattening of the wallet for the executives - Behind times in technological world, expecting employees to be able to function while on the road with old flip phones that have no internet capability - Paperwork is very redundant, frequently you are entering the same information on multiple forms, these need to be condensed and issue has been brought to management but no change in the 12+ years there

Pros

The facility itself is very well kept. Attention to detail as far as asthetics is evident.

Cons

The pay scale for the work required is not compensitory. The mission of the facility is supposed to be getting people back into an independent living situation. Non of the clients that are currently there will ever be in an independent living situation.

Pros

I can't think of even one pro to working for this company other than if it snows a lot, we can use a work from home day. I would say that it is a "great mission", but, it truly is not, as they are extremely hypocritical and fake in their care and concern for human kind.

Cons

They treat their good, hardworking, dedicated employees as though they are expendable, and they take complete advantage of their employees. There is no gratitude or appreciation for all the hard work and long hours that the employees put into this job. They overload you on work and do not offer you any incentives in return, never even a "thank you". There were no merit increases in all the years that I worked there and they dropped the mileage reimbursement amount down to an amount that was barely even worth it, while the gas prices continued to climb, as well as the cost of living. It is too cliquey in the offices, very dramatic, extremely catty, too much backstabbing and too much playing the blame game instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes. If you are not one of managements "favorites" you WILL BE treated DISGUSTINGLY UNFAIR. And, there is barely any kind of real and good training for new employees. Seasoned employees are expected to do all of the new hire training...again, without any incentives. There is NO "team" in this company or in the individual offices at all. The health insurance is mediocre and way too expensive. And if you have an issue or concern that you feel needs to be addressed by Human Resources or a "higher up", you may as well kiss your job goodbye, as it is secretively frowned upon to do so. And once they've decided that they (management) does not like you for whatever ridiculous and immature reason, they will ultimately lay you off as the way of legally getting rid of you - stating that it's due to "budget cuts" - but then hire someone new to fill your position right after you are gone, while you struggle and panic to find another job as quickly as possible in today's almost impossible job market and difficult economy.
