Decent Place to Work

Pros

Pay is average. Workload is heavier than some other firms, but everything is pretty systemized so things don’t get chaotic. Drawback is that the firm is a little top heavy and support staff is treated as though there are replaceable. This firm does not care about turnover, and you will be managed based on metrics that are not always fair. Case managers at this firm almost have a sales role where you constantly have to persuade clients to buy into seeking treatment they may not need. This job will not be a fit if you have moralistic expectations for your workplace. A lot of the practices you’ll be told to do are borderline unethical. They also are disinterested in making the firm more of a “career” oriented environment. The benefits are minimal (think fast food restaurant). They thrive off of an unhealthy competitive atmosphere where the expectation is that the door keeps revolving. They do do wine Wednesdays though. The gifts from providers you can get at any decently sized law firm.

Cons

Benefits leave much to be desired, lots of micromanaging, moral/ethical concerns

Pros

Not being unemployed Wine wednesday….(a half full plastic cup of $10 wine)

Cons

Useless management who also micromanage your every move, phone usage etc. felt like high school Lack of adequate pay, training or resources. High turnover rates cause uncertainty. It doesn’t feel good to see a revolving door of people be hired and fired bc THE FIRM is clearly incapable. There are year(s) old cases just sitting there bc of this!!
