ShipStation provides many opportunities to strength both your technical and customer service skills. At first, you may feel resentful if you're stuck with the complex issues or handling the needy customers, but those interactions become spectacular stories in job interviews with other employers if you feel that your potential for growth within the company has plateaued. Put in the effort to take on the hard issues, learn everything to can about troubleshooting APIs, and ask the more experienced employees questions to keep improving. If you do this, you'll find that ShipStation employees really do stand out in a crowd.

Pros

The training process was incredible, and I started my position very confident in my role with the company. I was constantly challenged to perform better in my position. The best part was the work environment though. It was unlike any other place I had ever worked. Higher management is constantly rooting for you and wants you to succeed. They are understanding and respectful of any necessary time that needs to be taken off. They honestly just genuinely care about your success and happiness. Also, all my co-workers were always willing to help and were generally very pleasant. I truly looked forward to going to work each day.

Cons

The company is growing quickly so it was a bit difficult at times to keep up with all the relevant changes.
