Pros

Learn a lot about industry. Unfortunately not a great training program so you have to dig for the information internally. Some of the people there are good people. Unfortunately none of them are managers or make any decisions.

Cons

No Training. Terrible vision for the company. Cut throat sales environment. Mgmt can just take your accounts. Commission is suppose to 10% then Sn Mgmt adds in this formula that nobody understands and then you really get about 7%. CTO is lazy and doesn't put in any effort. COO is never at the office. The owners are not involved. It seems like a sinking ship just relying on a couple of good sales rep to produce for the whole company. Not a place for a long term career.

Pros

Like some others have shared, this place is a different kind of corporate culture. I was there for eight years and those people are some of my best friends. I liked Smith but was burned out on the industry and decided to go in a completely different direction in hospitality. Great people and the owners really step up when one of their workers is in need.

Cons

Tough industry brokering components. There is other stuff like servers and solar panels but the components side takes a lot out of you over time.

Pros

NO BS company. This company is a great example of getting out what you put in. There are a lot of people around me that are very successful and so I know that it's possible but it does take very hard work and dedication to the job. It's very laid back and dress code is super relaxed.

Cons

The business structure is relatively flat so there aren't a lot of management positions. The good side of that is that management positions are all former traders so at least you know that if you work hard and do well, you will have an opportunity.
