Bad outweighs Good

Pros

Flexible schedule. Paid parking. Starting wage. Benefits start on first day of employment. PTO adds up quickly.

Cons

No cost of living raise. Unfair performance reviews lead to no annual raise. No profit sharing based on average performance review. All departments are understaffed and overworked. Unmanageable work load. Leadership is unapproachable and unsupportive. I feel unappreciated by the hard work I do. Internal transfers are impossible. Does not promote career advancement or cross training. Feels more provider orientated than business colleagues. Poor communication all around.

Poor Leadership, arrogant, inflexible

Pros

I find it difficult to list any pros at this time

Cons

Inflexible and arrogant leadership. I have oftentimes felt that i were in an episode of Mean Girls or pledging to a sorority with the back biting and pettiness. Upper management chooses favorites and doesn't pay any attention to anyone else.. They are inflexible with their directives and somewhat antiquated workflows and don't have the ability to see their own failures. Regional leadership is more interested in accolades from Tacoma than doing the right thing or even listen to reason. You will never get a raise working for Sound, period.

Disappointment abounds Think hard before working here

Pros

Be careful if you chose to join this organization. You will be allowed to work autonomously yet multiple meetings on a weekly basis to "unite" the teams and regions of the country. Good work life balance, if you are not a medical provider If you have a Masters Degree or higher you are valued Compensation is good, benefits adequate

Cons

No firm processes in place, rapid growth has lead to dysfunctional leadership. Inability to view the problems at hand. Busy looking at the broad scope rather than the pinpoint areas causing friction and breakdown. There is no culture at this company. There do not appear to be any values other than dog eat dog or Big Me, Little You. Very poor employee relations, with the multitude of employees disengaged while the leadership is clueless to this fact. Highly stressful work environment, no smiles, no friendships within the home office. Very little camaraderie between workers. Dismal work environment
