Pros

This company has a history of success, providing strong results for its hospital partners and opportunities for its employees. Leadership keeps focused on the organization's stated mission and has invested in the people, resources, and technology needed to fulfill it. This is a smart organization and sets the standard for high performance!

Cons

Have not identified anything significant. It is not perfect, but I have yet to work for a company that is. And any minor "cons" are far outweighed by the "pros".

Pros

Health care is changing dramatically and Sound is keeping pace. They have included Transitional Care and Post Acute Care in the continuum of services they provide. Their focus remains on providing high quality care and improving patient outcomes. Patient safety and patient centered care are clearly a part of the practice. Post Acute Care offers opportunities to continue to provide Sound quality of care and maintain a very flexible, family friendly lifestyle. I have worked in Post Acute for most of my career and joined Sound because of their vision in linking Hospitalists and Post Acute providers. Salary and benefits are competitive with opportunity for productivity incentives. For such a large company, Management is very accessible and welcomes new ideas and criticism.

Cons

Changes come fast and can sometimes be disruptive to productivity.
