Pros

Pay was decent thats it .

Cons

Toxic ,depressing ,no support at all, they do not follow the company policies seriously work somewhere else they lie about what they are hiring you for make you struggle then fire you no warning no write ups and they will disrespect you, you report issues to hr about managers unprofessional behavior calling you a curse word you will be the one getting terminated. The money is not worth it . The corporate staff are super people they can do the impossible they don't need you they make that very clear . Don't ask for help they will hire mental people .stay on unemployment it's better then working here . I feel sorry for whomever works here .

Pros

Good pay Good benefits Great team

Cons

I’ve never worked for a company that micromanages as much as they do. There are security cameras throughout the administrative building and every time you think you’re the one who manages the property the Regional Manager flips the script. The employees I supervise are a great team but steadily pushed to the limits with the demands of the job. Commissions are very low and docked frequently due to minuscule “errors”. If you make a mistake know that you’ll be put on blast and everyone in upper management will be cc’d on the emails sent to you. I’ve heard upper management “joke”‘about being put on “the list”, but I think it was really a slip-up as to what REALLY happens. Items that a property NEEDS are denied due to budget yet you’ll be wrote up if something’s not done with said items. Not family oriented at all. Little to no flexibility. 40 hours PTO after 90 days and that includes sick days. Short staffed, short tempered upper management equals short tenures for what could have been loyal dedicated employees.

Pros

in my opinion there are no "pros"

Cons

southwood is the type of company that if you aren't friends with the right people your time spent will be horrible and even for the ones that make the right friends and kiss the right bum its still pretty bad they treat their employees like crap and pay them even worse and to top it all off you constantly have to watch your back because nearly everyone is 2-faced so if i was you i would run far far away if i could i have seen them treat their best employees like trash while letting the slackers do what ever they want because they're "friends" but if it makes you feel better they treat their properties the same way me personally as soon as i can go i am without even thinking of looking back
