Pros
Though base pay is only about $10.50 a hour Commission should get you to about 60,000 a year or more. Good benefits Free services but you pay half of equipment costs.
Cons
They are always looking for a reason to put you on paperwork due to the shifted blame. Ex: if a supervisor is not meeting their numbers then it will be a very stressful month for your team due to the supervisor not wanting to get written up by management. You can be a great leader and meet numbers consistently but get written up for having one bad week of numbers if it benefits the supervisor. The system of getting time off is faulty. You can request time off and be on the waiting lists for weeks due to projected calls on certain days that may not even happen. If you call out then they will write you up. The attendance policy is very broad so you can be written up for anything if a supervisor is petty enough. The system they go by is "patterns" but technically anything can be a pattern because there are no set guidelines of what a pattern is. As a rep you make more than what most supervisors make. So moving up will actually give you a pay cut. There is no job security. Retaliation is common. Reporting things to HR does not protect your job and because a lot of policies are so broad a supervisor can really get you fired quickly in retaliation. They tell you you only work 1 holiday per year but if they don't have enough volunteers to work a holiday then they draft reps who have already worked holidays. The night shift does not get the same sales opportunities as the morning and mid day shifts and they do not adjust anything to assist you monetarily with making the same amount. They are understaffed usually so there will be a lot of calls in cue. Every call that hits your line affects your metrics even if it is not a sales call or sales opportunity and you are held accountable even if it is a billing or repair call. Working the night shift you will frequently get repair calls so they adjusted the night shift metrics to be lower but not the commission so you have a fair opportunity. The buckets for commission are unfair to people who work until 1am because you are in the same bucket with people who get off at 10pm.
