Pros

I liked the environment, kitchen staff got along for the most part. Pay was alright, hr easy to work with

Cons

When I was there, we went through a change of leadership. The new kitchen director did not have much cooking experience and that was a big point of contention among the kitchen staff.

Pros

The company offers decent insurance compared to most. Staff within the community was amazing.

Cons

Being supportive and micromanaging are two different things. I am 2 days into a new sales job and have had more training than my entire time with Spectrum. When I first started, I was promised support. I saw the RDO TWO times during my time with Spectrum, and both were to reprimand, never to train. There was no RDS when I started, and once there was, the focus was with other communities. I was increasing sales as compared to the past several years. Held to standards that they did not enforce with other/previous Sales Directors. It is disheartening to me that these are the leaders the owners choose to represent the company. I think it would be safe to say this isn't the first time they would be referred to as bullies. More time will be spent responding to these negative reviews than training and actually supporting staff.
