Speedway reviews

In a small town so there is not a lot in close proximity. Ever since 7-Eleven took over, the company has gone down hill. The communication from upper management down has decreased greatly. There is little collaboration and now is more of a Dog Eat Dog mentality.

Understaffed, Upper management expects management to cover shifts blindly and without notice - no regard for life outside of the job. Promised raises never come thought. We have had wage readjustments and I've lost my earned raises. I've been with Speedway for four years and still making base rate - the same rate as a new hire. Wages are not competitive. Less than 2 miles away there is a 7-11 starting at 16 (management starts at 15.5). Bonuses were great but 7-Eleven changed the metrics and formulas. Now it's impossible to hit payrolls goal because of the overtime. If we cut hours then the store isn't staffed.
