Things are not what they seem

Pros

They only hire A players and have a strong push towards diversity. You will be challenged and you will learn a lot because of this. Other pros - great location - lots of growth and room for upward mobility - beautiful office - vacation - when allowed to use - great place to make friends - if you are looking to learn and be challenged, this is a great company

Cons

The company is young and still going through expected growing pains with product and process that can cause a lot of stress. There is also the a culture of advancing people based on popularity vs skill, although this is not true in all departments. It is a great company for some but buyer beware. Things are not as they seem. Other cons: - lower than industry pay - poor parking situation - lack of communication and cohesion among teams; especially sales - lack of honest visibility into senior management/leadership - accountability is not consistent across all departments and some people (depending on their “popularity” are allowed to get away with a lot - Long hours with no work life balance - disorganized (although typical of a start up) - if you don’t agree 100% with leadership, you are labeled as a bad egg

Pros

- leadership has an open door policy (none of them even have offices) - company invests in additional education (lunch and learns, marketing certification classes, offsite classes, leadership training, financial advice) - every employee has a voice and a seat at the table - hard work is rewarded and recognized - we are reminded of and focused on our core values weekly, sometimes even daily - company has created an encouraging, supportive, and fun environment that allows every employee to feel comfortable being themselves - fast growing company in a fast paced industry where self starters can thrive

Cons

- as the company scales it is hard to maintain the integrity of our community and original vision - often working long hours to ensure your team and the company are meeting goals and supporting customers 100%. The internet is 24/7 and we have customers all over the world - our business is helping our customer's with their businesses which is not something we take lightly!

Pros

I've been at Springbot for a year and a half now. When I first started, we had about 30 employees, and now we've more than doubled in size. It's been incredibly exciting to be a part of such a fast-growing company. One of the best things about Springbot is the transparency everyone has into how the company is doing. Each quarter we meet together for a "lunch and learn" style gathering where leadership from each department updates us on what their teams are working on, what they've accomplished, etc. Our CEO also updates us on how we're doing overall and where we're headed. I always leave those meetings inspired and proud to be working on this team.

Cons

You might find yourself working long hours depending on the time of year and what projects you're working on. We operate under a results-focused lens instead of a clock-in-clock-out mindframe, and to get good results sometimes means working longer than 9-5.
