      Great Team - Weak Management

      Pros

      The team atmosphere is great. The office for IT staff is well kept.

      Cons

      Weak and inefficient management staff. Rampant favoritism in the department. Punishments and 'reviews' are handed out to those who choose not to bend to the will of the management team. This in and of itself is normal, but when the management runs the team so ineffectually it is hard to follow direct instruction. PM team is extremely elitist and has little to no knowledge about the day-to-day of the IT needs of the hospital.

      Great experience but no room to grow

      Pros

      If your interest in going to Grad School for nursing, speech, physical, or occupational therapy, or ABA and need a year or two of experiencing and making money prior this is a good place to work temporarily. But there is no room to grow from this position.

      Cons

      You will be dealing with very sick children, often when they are sick they are not sent home and you can easily be exposed to their illnesses. If your uncomfortable with being vomited on 5 times in 30 minutes. This is not the job for you.

      I work with the some of the greatest and most genuine people and that's about it

      Cons

      Salary is awful, benefits are lame, no pension, no respect for support staff. So top heavy on the executive level we are going to fall over into the hole they are digging
