Mission is a joke

Pros

Job security, diverse patient population. The co workers that really care help. Unfortunately becoming few and far between.

Cons

I find it hypocritical that st joes constantly talks about their vision and values when all they care about is the almighty dollar. No sick time, poor communication skills in management, and staff is not valued. Very much the you don't like it go somewhere else attitude.

Pros

Department staff were great to work with! With all that management dumped on us, we kept each other afloat!

Cons

It's like living in fear day to day...senior management couldn't manage themselves out of a paper bag. And yet, they have 6 figure salaries. A case of too many chiefs, and not enough Indians.

Pros

Caring wonderful co workers, great teamwork and friendships were made. Salaries are somewhat fair, benefits are just ok. Parking is available at a small cost, security is wonderful.

Cons

Upper management is clueless and only cares about covering their tail and profit. For a health care facility I was shocked at how many people must report to work sick, until I became ill at work one day, I reported to my manager and informed him how bad I felt, to my surprise he gave me a hard time and couldn't believe I couldn't finish my shift, he finally told me go home but I'm not paying you Not a good career place as turn over is very high
