Be careful! Have you heard of no fault absences policy? Basically states there is a point system for absences/late punches. I never knew this existed or was legal. If you call in even with a doctors note you will receive points towards their point system that can lead to write ups and termination. A dr note is not an excused absence. It will count against you. Also, if the facilities own employee health says you cannot return to work until they release you, you will get points counted against you. So basically they say you cannot work as it is not safe and punish you for it. Also deaths in family callouts are not protected. These marks do not disappear either until following year on the date you were sick. There are no exceptions to this point system and no matter what life event happened to you they are not sympathetic to it or give exceptions
