Oppressive People-Management at Hospital Information Technology

Cons
A part of the group within Hospital IT is being subjected to verbally (not written) continuous 24/7 work schedule for weeks on end on rotation for exempt employees. Overseas staff covering overnight support work is being let go and their support (non-exempt) work is being added to exempt staff as a cost-cutting measure resulting in 24/7 work hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays with *no* overtime compensation or comp time or regard for employees' health or wellness. Requests to redress this situation have been ignored by management and HR denies this to be the policy. No written document has been officially circulated and this policy is being enforced verbally (and currently followed). No HR or Senior Management oversight.
