Pros

It's a diverse work culture. We assist the clients we serve in gaining the knowledge and skills to become active participants in the community.

Cons

Due to being a nonprofit organization and funding being limited pay increases are slim to none.

Pros

I loved working with the consumers and learned a lot in the 7 years I worked there. My supervisor and ASD were great at the Tunkhannock site and my co workers were terrific.

Cons

After 7.5 years, I only made .74 more than a new hire. The pay rate is very unfair. People with a bachelor degree in any field get a .50 bump up but my Associates degree in Human Services got no bump in pay. I was told it was a minimum requirement but that was not true because most of my co workers had no degree at all.
