Opportunity to do rewarding work and really help people in a meaningful way. Good location in Santa Monica. Good health insurance

Cons

Poor upper-management leadership with a cya mentality that are not respectful or responsive to needs. No raises. Shortage of space, sharing one bathroom with clients. Unrealistic demands on productivity and not providing the means to be successful.

Health insurance is REALLY good and the only thing that has been keeping me at this job.

Low pay (CEO makes obscene money and drives a Bentley while those on the ground floor can barely make ends meet), uncaring management, out of touch executives, no raises, no communication, long hours, high emotional demand, high mental demand

some employees really are in it for the right reasons and manage to help despite the road blocks placed by upper management

Cons

THEY DO NOT CARE. Management only cares about money (which they don't have and they don't pay vendors). They have no knowledge of how to run properties and seem to keep hiring people with even less knowledge. The new person in management is a nightmare, has no knowledge, power trips and is inappropriate. The management is the absolute is the reason why the clients suffer and the company is going to fail. Bills are not paid, and clients are just there to fulfill a quota. There is no desire or direction to improve lives, in fact these people suffer more staying at Step Up properties
