Pros

Flexibility is good as far as making your own schedule and handling your business. Lot's of changes that have happened and that are coming up that are not for the better. Major company cut backs, they even took away Christmas parties....... No growth in the company and majority of "leaders" are based in the states and don't seem to care about growing or making the Canadian market better.

Cons

Long laundry list of items. This is a good stepping stone if you're looking to get into corporate sales. Just know that your life span at the job is no more than 4 years max. You would be better off starting at the bottom of a company with growth and promoting potential.

Pros

Flexible work environment. Team environment prior to being acquired.

Cons

The entire management structure of the software division of the company is in shambles and impossible to work for. There is no trust with them nor do they understand what the teams are actually doing. Arbitrary and impossible deadlines imposed by them makes for a some very tense meetings. Even more interesting is that in almost all cases, the customers requesting these changes aren't even able to consume these changes for months after the deadline. If Stericycle is looking into acquiring your software company, and you care about your product and your people, I'd advise to steer clear of them. They will do what they do best and destroy your product, force your team out and tarnish your good name. On the tread of tarnished names, let's not forget that time when Stericycle restructured existing contracts for customers resulting in customers being over charged. It's a good thing the customers fought back and forced Stericycle into a settlement.

We are sorry to hear about your experiences while with the company. Change can be difficult and it's unfortunate that due to the changes, you determined we were no longer a good fit for you. Had there been opportunity, we would have welcomed the chance to support team members through the transition. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

Working with a great group of people, being able to surround yourself daily with people who can work well together as a team. Having other coworkers around the country who are supportive and offer assistance when needed.

Cons

Too many times I've seen people who possess more qualities of leadership and knowledge of certain job positions, however, they are overlooked and someone else is promoted or put into a higher level position - possibly even seeking outside the company, rather than promoting from within. This gets to be discouraging as you see this going on around you.
