Pros

Challenging work with a team-approach. Started as a legal secretary and grew to a management position within five years my start at the firm. Loved the 37.5 hour work week as a mom with a young child. Great benefits, particularly the 401k contribution.

Cons

Legal support can be a high-pressure environment at times, but the resources and team approach that Stoel provides make it easier manage the workload.

Pros

Super smart colleagues, fast-paced, and rewarding professional services environment. There is a lot to get involved in locally and at the firmwide level, based on your interests - well-being, diversity, affinity groups, community, and more. Excellent benefits plan, casual dress code, and beautiful Portland office. Amazing 24/7 tech support and array of technologies to streamline most functional areas.

Cons

An inherent challenge of working remotely during COVID is employee engagement, but Stoel has been working hard to provide programs, initiatives, and opportunities to help people feel supported.
