I have worked for Stoel for almost 3 years now. I love it and will never look for another job. They have me for life!

None - seriously, none. Any con I have ever brought to their attention was immediately rectified.

There are some nice, but martyred, co-workers.

Cons

There are several attorneys in the firm I'd never work for but they stay, tormenting their practice assistants while not having their behavior corrected by management because of the money those attorneys bring in. Management is also unbelievably bad in communicating with staff, leaving staff dangling and uninformed.

Pros

You get to work with a lot of great people from all offices, some partners are willing to teach and have patience (others may not). I've made some of my best friends working here.

Cons

Management can be picky about dumb things, let senior staff get away with things the junior staff would get reprimanded for (e.g. being in the office 3 days a week), and the older staff who've been there forever don't know how to do their jobs and pawn it off on the junior staff. Benefits are great, pay is not market, and they know that - also said that they will not adjusting for cost of living. Expect a 1-2% raise as a top staff member.
