Pros

Awesome opportunity to impact others in health & wellness. The book of business you can build with your clientele is great. A good environment to work in with good values. Corporate has a certification program that teaches incoming flexes proper stretch techniques necessary for all types of clientele. They actually do it through there own program, it’s paid through them, and you learn a great skill with this job. Pay is good if you have clients consistent by the hour. Solid part time gig if that’s what you’re looking for.

Cons

Flexologist isn’t a career position, mostly part time, no benefits, not much opportunity for growth, and pay scale fluctuates depending on clients time with you.

Pros

-The clients that come in that you’re able to provide great services for -Flexible scheduling -the ability to do physical therapy adjacent work while still in school or immediately after graduating -constant resources for learning new stretches and techniques through StretchLab platform

Cons

- there’s only one manager at this location and she’s extremely unprofessional. She doesn’t communicate at all and any criticism given to her, she takes personally and will try to get in the way of your scheduling. She has a created a very gossip heavy environment and it’s divided the team greatly as she shows favoritism. She has contributed to a heavy toxic environment that has cost some flexes to want to leave and continues to cover up her faults by hiring new flexes. - the lead flexes doesn’t communicate well either and has subjected piggybacking on managers behavior. Many flexes have communicated multiple times to the lead flexes and manager about issues they’re seeking change for and nothing has been done. -no benefits -paid per client, below minimum wage for 25 minute sessions - paid minimum wage for down time hours (doing any cleaning tasks, meetings, etc) but encouraged to not have too much down time
