Pros

Summit Health was decent when I started but since 2022 it has spiraled into a uncontrolled, toxic work environment.

Cons

- Management does not listen to concerns of its employees. They would rather sweep concerns under the rug than address them. - Big on favoritism, if you are friends with your manager they will overlook complaints/concerns - All of IT Managers/Directors are remote, if they come onsite twice a year, that is considered a good thing

Cons

Since they’ve cut benefits people have been leaving left and right with no rehire to take over their workload. So the people left have to do 2-3 people’s job and YET management still keeps moving deadlines earlier and earlier as if everyone isn’t already overworked as it is. And they have the audacity to preach about caring for our healths on their useless webinars. Higher ups gets paid the big bucks just to spew some bs about caring for our health once a month while we have to work late into the night just to meet their inane deadlines.

Warm providers and support staff, collaboration with MD’s was stellar, for a long time patient outcomes was the purpose of our work,it was satisfying for me as a nurse

Cons

New corporate buy out has left us with more work, less staff, and no monetary incentives, the bottom line is not patient outcomes, it’s frankly put, the dollar
