Pros

Helped me get my license and I learned a lot when it comes to Medicare sales. Got good experience. Helped a lot of people get better coverage and it was amazing to hear happy customers.

Cons

Bad comp structure, 8$ per sale during AEP. They are not truthful, they are deceitful. I was a new agent and I literally was lied to and confused when trying to get my licenses. I was told they controlled my license and if I left the company I couldn't sell life and health for 180 days. (obviously not true) My licenses and all of the info were in Tranzacts name so it was stressful to get it all transferred to me. They also didn't pay me for 4 months. They also always did lunch and dinner in the office, office parties, etc bc at the end of the day we were getting scammed as agents out of our comp haha. Tryna woo us over with food and music.

Pros

The only pro is what you will see in another post. You will get licensed. If you have not ever sold insurance then this can be a stepping stone. Let us emphasize CAN. Meaning you can go anywhere else to get your license- it's not expensive.

Cons

Left this company thinking I wasted my life for 2 years with them -I found my current job and am so grateful. Very little communication, if I had a dollar for every time a team lead or manager did not answer their phone, I'd have more money than I would get for compensation. The comp was always sub par. And by sub par I mean absolute garbage. Imagine selling a policy that was $1000 for the year, you do not get a percentage. You get what they say and they won't say until 2 weeks into the month! It's now January. Imagine waiting till the 3rd week of January to find out what you will be making for the whole month. Further, the comp isn't "you make a sale and you Make $x" it gets broken down. For most months, you will need to make 40 sales to even make the max. sales from 1-14 $10 sales 15-18 = $12. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. If you were independent you could make soo much more money it's disgusting. The greed and the lack of leadership. The majority of the people who have been there 4+ years are snakes and will do what they can to keep their job. I have never been so angry because of how the company spits you out on the sales floor with no proper training and you end up listening to the trainer talk about themselves instead of the information you need to sell. If there was another company you were looking at and debating on which one, go with the other. You probably will not make it here long, after Medicare's annual enrollment period, the Sales OPS team cuts you - permanently. They tell you that you are welcome back for next AEP but why give them your time even further when it's been proven that you do not matter to them- only THEIR bonus matters.

Pros

Compensation is competitive. While there is higher in the industry in Florida, it still is better than most Florida pay rates.

Cons

Writing this review because the current 3-star rating isn't reflective of how so many employees on the sales floor feel. I have friends looking for work and I'm embarrassed to refer them to this company, despite generous referral incentives. - Subpar performance managers: Getting an email without multiple grammatical errors is rare and meetings consist of listening to a manager ramble at you for 15-30 minutes without a care in the world for any feedback or questions employees have. - Poor communication with employees: Ask a question, you may or may not get an answer. - Subpar facilities: Computer system, internet connection speed, and the physical environment all need to be improved - Poor work/life balance: 5 days of PTO for the year and holiday pay is only for the day of, e.g. you only get Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day as the paid holiday, and you won't get paid for those days if you "call out" the day before or after, so family time for sales agents obviously isn't considered a priority, even if you're willing to sacrifice some pay to get it.
