Pros

Supported by senior management. Ability to speak honestly and feel valued for input. Staff are appreciated. Opportunities for learning, growth, advancement.

Cons

The only con I could consider is pay. I don't know that I've ever had a job where I felt like I was getting paid what I'm worth. But overall the compensation and benefits are comparable.

Thank you for your comments. We are very proud of our Associate Directors. You keep our programs running smoothly day-to-day and guide your staff in providing the best care possible to our clients. Pay is a struggle for non-profits, no doubt. Much of it is determined by our funding. We have found that like you, our staff our here to make a difference. Your leadership keeps our staff engaged and proud of our mission, which is the #1 reason we are all here at Talbert House. Thank you for all you do and for helping our team make a difference for the people in our community who need it the most!

Our Associate Directors run our programs and facilities. Most of them have been promoted up from our front line ranks and are super dedicated to our mission, our clients and our staff. We currently have 27 Directors overseeing more than 75 programs and locations. Their leadership and talent are indispensable to our agency! With such a large number of programs and services, and nearly 1,000 staff members, it is indeed a challenge to keep up with everything we do to help those most in need in our community! Thank you for your dedication to our agency and our mission!
