Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad you felt you had the opportunity to learn and grow during your time with us. As a non-profit agency primarily funded through government grants and Medicaid reimbursement, we leverage every penny at our disposal. We serve some of the most desperate and needy members of our community and place a high priority on providing accessible, safe, equitable and quality care to our clients. Rewarding our staff for the services they provide is also very important to us. Our total rewards strategy includes not only wages, but also a high emphasis on great healthcare benefits (zero-deductible healthcare and great discounts on pharmacy services!), generous PTO/sick time, free individual mental health and wellness services and resources, a 50% match on retirement contributions up to 14% of salary, employer-paid disability insurance and life insurance, significant discounts and supportive services for childcare, access to employer-sponsored student loan forgiveness programs and , tuition reimbursement, scholarships and discounts, and many other ways to help our employees manage life finances. In addition we offer exceptional training programs for learning and career development. Talbert House is the perfect workplace for people who want to serve their community and make a difference for others.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We totally agree on the importance of Case Managers and the critical role they play in supporting therapists, counselors and social workers. We are working very closely with local universities through internships and graduate placements to recruit and retain quality Case Managers. We also have added additional training and support for staff working in these critical roles. Many of our licensed clinicians have made successful, long-term careers here at Talbert House. Others leave the agency for additional experience in other areas and then return. Thank you for the work you do serving our community!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so pleased to know that you find our workplace to be one of learning and growth. It is an important strategic goal of the agency to provide enrichment and career development for every staff member. As you know, our total compensation package is about so much more than base pay. In the hypothetical example below, a full-time, non-exempt employee making a base wage of $27,040 is also earning the following: 20 days of PTO, worth $2,080/year at that wage 40 hours of paid sick time, worth $520/year An annual performance bonus of $1049 If they select our True Cost health plan for themself and their spouse, Talbert House pays 91% of their premium, which is worth $12,083.40/year. In addition, Talbert House pays 100% of the administrative fees, which are more than $600/year/employee. If they contribute 10% of their wages to our 403b retirement fund, Talbert House matches that at 50%, so they are receiving an additional $1,352 contribution/year to their retirement All employees are automatically provided with life insurance and base disability coverage, which costs approximately $353/year. If this employee refers a new job applicant who is hired and remains at the agency for 90 days, they can receive up to $1,000 for that referral. They can refer as many people as they want with no limit. If they are pursuing a higher degree and applied for tuition reimbursement, they could receive an average of $2500/year for their education. In this example, a person's total compensation package is worth a base salary of $27,040 plus another $21,537.40! They are actually earning $48,577.40/year. What's more... the list above does not include all of our benefits.
