      Pros

      No pros to working for a sinking ship of a company. There will be no Talkiatry in next couple of years.

      Cons

      Everything. This company and their "leadership" (really lack thereof) is full of it. DO NOT APPLY OR WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. The so-called leadership of this place does not know how to run a business because if they did, they wouldn't have had to FIRE over 100 people in the wee hours of the morning like the losers they are. Everyone they will let go will be better off in the end to no longer be associated with this sham of a company.

      Reorganization decisions are incredibly difficult. It may seem abrupt, but no decision that affects our teammates is taken lightly. We weighed alternatives, but ultimately decided that this was the best course of action. We’re doing everything we can to help those affected in their transition.

      Finally a company that cares about mental health

      Pros

      Finally a company that cares about mental health so much that they - Lay people off with no notice, wiping their computers in the middle of the night and sending them an email to let them know they have been let go. - Use the same employees who have been let go to create a plan to offshore work to Colombia. - Require employees to sign a severance statement in order to be eligible for 2 weeks of severance pay (which may render them ineligible for unemployment). - Show a lack of respect and regard for the people that they are firing, using corporate fluff to try and lessen the blow.

      News like this is hard to deliver, and incredibly hard to receive. Our colleagues are teammates and friends. This decision was difficult. While it may seem abrupt, we spent months weighing options and searching for alternate solutions. Our leadership decided this decision was the best one for the company’s long-term mission. We’re doing everything we can to help those affected in their transition.

      Pros

      There were a couple of really great managers and leadership that I will always appreciate and have respect for. It was a great experience being able to work from home and help patients get their initial appointment.

      Cons

      This company, as of today, furloughed over 100 employees in order to outsource our job roles to a call center in Columbia. They gave us no warning, lied to us that everything was ok and then we just woke up to revoked access and an email of what had happened. Their main goals has always been saving cost where they can and to keep numbers up patient wise. If they truly cared about quality they wouldn't have given our jobs to a group that has continuously made errors even when the ones who were trying to train them, were the ones who got sacrificed. Backwards business, not ideal to work for.
