Pros

Company vehicle Provided, Ability to be Quickly promoted if you drink the Kool-Aid

Cons

Management team is highly inexperienced. Most of the managers all the way to senior-level management have never worked in any environment besides TTI, and as a result have a narrow view as to what dictates success and performance. During the pandemic field representatives were expected to continue full-time, customer-facing work and were not provided protective equipment and face masks until April 18th 2020. I was banned by management from promotions because I refused to violate our retailers' COVID restrictions regarding store activity and suggesting innovative customer engagement techniques that did not pose unnecessary health risks. The direct-level management does not understand the difference between leadership and bullying and consistently relies on the latter in order to complete objectives. The company loves to brag about how much the employees love the organization, and will discuss the number of new employee referrals as evidence to how much the employees love the company. The part that they leave out is that each quarter management dictates that each employee submit a minimum of 3 employee referrals and will "coach" you if you are unable to meet this objective. This organization places little to no emphasis on experiences outside of the company - I have attended a service academy, completed undergraduate dual degree in Finance and accounting at a top-20 university, have completed my MBA and have 7 years of professional working experience, but promotions are being offered to employees with significantly lower sales performance, non-business related degrees and no professional work experience. I was also injured while at work and was provided approximately 1 hour of notice before they completely pulled me from work and refused to allow me to continue work in a capacity with which I was able to fulfill. The role is in no way a fulfilling job, and the employees at retail centers rarely treat you with any level of respect. Pay is good as a very first job, but the pay increases upon promotions are minimal compared to other organizations. I was provided a company car, but I was driving approximately 500 miles per week off-company hours to see all retailers

Pros

There are none. If you want to be over worked, commute over an one and a half hours for a store that hates you and could care less about you and not get compensated for any of that time.

Cons

If you like your apartment being used as a warehouse and drowning in cardboard come sign up. They will promise the world and do little to nothing to help you move within the company. Haven't seen my manager in months. The Home Depot HATES TTI and would rather us not come into the store than do our job.

Pros

Looks good on a resume.

Cons

As a manager, I get paid less than my reps under me. On average I work AT LEAST 13 hours a day (I call that finishing early). They are too cheap to invest in a recruiting team, so managers are left to do ALL of it (FOR THE ENTIRE NATION). The "divisional recruiters" ask how they "can help and support us" while we do all of the work. I see one rep about every 3 months and have absolutely no time to focus or help develop them. Honestly, they wonder why the rep turn over is so high (but won't actually give us the number) but maybe it's because managers should just be labeled "recruiters." Oh and for the workload, you are underpaid, over worked, have terrible PTO, oh and there's no incentives, no commission, BARELY a bonus, and no personal life!!! Do what ya want!
