Cons
The company tricks you into these awesome benefits & growth opportunities, but please be aware & trust these reviews it is a trap. You work 40 hours a week in a home depot. Lifting heavy boxes, and you are continually sexually harassed, management does absolutely nothing about it. There is zero honesty & transparency within management. They thrive off manipulating young grads. You are promised promotions that absolutely never come. It may sound like these are bitter employee reviews, but no, this is the experience of everyone in the company. You are a glorified Home Depot Associate. You did not go to college to stock shelves and be sexually harassed. No one that works hard sees any reward, it is a political mess. The annual raise is a joke, and I honestly laughed, they talk about how much growth the company sees, but does not reward employees. With promoting based on politics you put people in positions that they aren't qualified for, people that would succeed in that said position and actually benefit the company, never get the chance. Constantly losing great talent because they do not value people. High high high turn over rate. Management is so fake, and never tells the truth. No support to succeed because everyone else just wants to get promoted. Claim the company culture is great........but I could not even tell you what it is. The company went through a transition that absolutely ruined the company culture, it was probably the worst idea they've had, but they don't care just want to make a quick buck. You gain no professional experience. Techtronic Industries is probably the worst company i have ever some across, Managers act like they are very important, but they're manipulated into working 7 days a week, definitely the worst position in the company. Also the majority of positive reviews on here are from Territory Managers that are forced to write them, so beware. The managers are not managers, they are strictly recruiters. ALL managers do is recruit, which tells you they do not care to develop employees, they care about head count to stock shelves. I just really truly do not understand how these field positions are still in the company.
