We strongly believe in recognition as a powerful communication tool to ensure our people know they are valued and heard, and we do recognize team members quarterly, annually through our Tendees awards, and spontaneously in huddles. We also focus on initial training to set up a new team member for success in a role and continuous growth and development at Tend. Internal promotion is a key objective for many of our operational and clinical lead roles. It is important to empower our team members to grow with us. I was a bit underpaid for the role, however, I was able to gain valuable experience that would have been harder to acquire in another org. Overall I am very grateful for the opportunity Tend gave me.
