You will be constantly watching new college grads that you train and develop grow in the organization and eventually become your boss while you stagnate. TI is the only major semiconductor company in Dallas and so leaving TI is also difficult if you are not willing to re locate. In summary it is a great place for new college grad. But if you are over 35 this is not the place.

It is a very large company, and can feel like there is a process for everything. That can be helpful when doing standard products, but can become a challenge when trying to do something new or different.
