Pros

The company encourages volunteer work

Cons

They put the wrong people in upper managent. It appears that Senior Managers can say anything they want about individuals without H.R listening to both sides of the story. It's a little scary that such a big company would promote this kind of behavior and tolerate harassment. Low morale.

Pros

Financially Stable, nice facilities, benefit package, broad range of accounts

Cons

Leadership doesn’t understand the concept of “service above self” and they will not engender the trust, confidence, and loyalty of those in the field. Field leadership receives a vote of non-confidence from their subordinates. Loss of trust and confidence in senior leaders. The result is a high employee turnover rates. Stress due to overwork and work-life imbalance, inability to take time off. Management is not generally perceived to be concerned with the well-being of employees. Lack of a solid plan and vision for success that employees will follow.

Pros

Texas Mutual offers some of the best benefits one could ever need and management strives to keep their rank and file employees happy and healthy. This is a very finically stable company and with the changing of the guard at the C level should prove better for employee morale. If you are in the twilight of your career and want a slow and steady pace until retirement this is the place for you.

Cons

Ambition from rank and file employees is not a trait that management appreciates. Team leads and line managers are typically promoted to that role based on tenure and not their ability to lead. If you are a technology professional do not be surprised by management obfuscation when attempting to introduce efficiencies.
