      As with most of the aerospace industry it can be boom or bust, and layoffs are common

      Pros

      Great to be a part of a winning team. Awesome opportunities to contribute. Great middle management - no politics to deal with. Everyone wants Cessna to succeed and gain market share.

      Cons

      Change in company culture. Loss of experienced engineers will hurt the company for years to come. I miss Jack Pelton and his ability to connect with employees.

      Pros

      I loved what I was doing and being part of the aircraft business. I worked with some wonderful people. Most of the engineers and mechanics worked hard to achieve. The administration is not about flying. It is just about money now.

      Cons

      The management listens to a few "buddies" they have on the floor and for the most part are not fair. Unfortunately it was who you knew and got along with and not how you did your job.
