Pros

The money is great. Tip percentage is mediocre but volume more than makes up for it. The people are great. You can pretty much set your own schedule due to the amount of servers. Relocation opportunities are available. Insurance is available but costly.

Cons

Corporate atmosphere. You will get written up for anything. Forget bread? Write up. No sense of development. Example: 2+ years of employment, no reviews. Guests. Every once in a while you might get a great table but most clientele are pretentious. You feel like you're walking on eggshells every move you make. All white, all the time.

Pros

Co-workers are friendly and pleasant to work with. As a server, I fortunately serve guests who really enjoy their experience at the Cheesecake Factory. My schedule requests are easily approved and I am able to make a decent amount working here.

Cons

Management acts as if they listen to your needs and prioritize them, but most of the time, it is in one ear and out the other. Simple requests to improve daily work efficiency is easily brushed to the side. Some upper management shows their care for the restaurant and company.

Pros

-Food tasting for Orientation -Easy to get off with request and also people picking up your shift -Cash at the end of the day. -Only 2 entire staff meetings a year -Best dessert and cheesecakes that I know of -Transfer to one of the many different locations throughout the US

Cons

-TIPS! They were very inconsistent because of the large foreign clientele in Las Vegas, and some of other larger foreign clientele locations. - Food Portions are too large need to downsize a little and maybe save some money and reinvest. It seemed liked nobody could finish food. -Typical Rigid corporate structure writes up, reviews and constant threat of negative reviews. -as mentioned before a lot of favoritism when it came to the sections, and how much money you made, during the initial interview set wrong expectations of how much we could actually make
