Expectations are too high

Pros

Honestly... The manager. No one else above them.

Cons

Most of the stores being early development, they are setting goals way too high and a lot of reps feel pressured to sell things to customers that really don't need it. The managers are overwhelmed and constantly being ridiculed which in turn is making us feel inadequate when we don't perform like the guys in their ivory towers want us to. The numbers are pulled from a hat of pipe dream goal that the regional director pulled out of his butt in Florida. The company is ran like a dictatorship and not a democracy and that's a shame because it is putting T-Mobile name down into the ground and drilled into the dirt as the uncarrier claims to be.

Pros

Good intro to the sales world

Cons

You don't get raises. If your market gets new mananger even if they were from that market do not expect to keep your job. The mananger lies about reasons to fire people and asked there employees to do the same.

I'm so sorry to hear you feel this way. Having been here under a year, I do not understand why you would think you would receive a raise when companies review annually. Our employees in the field all receive incentive for their great work and we have promoted over 300 people last year as a result of their hard work. I wish you success in your career. Pros

Benefits, Paid vacation, 401k, online training

Cons

Commission is way too low. Hourly pay is too low. Not enough training before being put on sales floor.

I am concerned over your comments and sorry to hear this. We have one of the best learning departments with continued courses. You should have had a week of training prior to getting out on your own. Incentives are paid and we have had over 300 employees promoted last year. We do not look at it as making money for Higher Ups; we look at it as YOU being paid incentives for all you do. ALSO.....We do not hire in this role. I am assuming you were an MSA? I wish you success on the road ahead. Randy Brandon Director of People Attraction
