Pros

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Cons

If your looking for a job where you don't want to make money and you like constantly having your pay changed then this job is for you. Place is a complete joke they will promote complete morons because they will move anywhere in the country. So if u like working for complete morons this job is for you. The regional managers only got where they are for moving where ever the company wanted. All and all any management or corporate people are morons. They are getting sued right now if that tells you anything. Don't believe me look up Christopher Chin vs. The Tile Shop. The turn over rate for employees is astronomical because of this you might work over 60 hrs a week. As for quality of there products don't believe everything they are saying some of it is just cheap garbage. I give the company another year or two before there all gone. Realistic pay for the first yeah is about 23k and years after that is about 40k if that. I would say closer to the 23k you made your first year. There's no money to be made with the way they pay out commission. If you like cleaning while not making any money you have found your job.

Pros

Stores are set up very costumer friendly so customers are generally happy & impressed with selection

Cons

The pay structure, commission only, explains why no matter how little business the store is doing, they will continue to hire an overabundance of staff. It costs them nothing to have sales associates who are constantly standing around with no one to sell tile to. You may find yourself as the most senior associate after only 1 month like me! People quickly realize they are getting barely above minimum wage, while working an extremely inflexible 45 hours a week, being pushed to harass customers to buy at all costs and follow childish rules that made no sense. Management has no idea how to treat their sale associates like competent adults and completely micromanage every aspect of the store and sales.
