Pros

The company does have an o.k. work life balance, and are willing to be flexible with the hours you need to work (within reason) and requesting time off.

Cons

Informal, non-structured training Bad Facilities AC was broken during a 90-100 degree heat snap and they stated "nothing could be done", for weeks. Management that doesn't care, unless you produce. Horrible commission structure.

Pros

This company amazingly does nothing right

Cons

Low base pay, which is a recoverable draw. This job is 100% commission. Required to work 55+ hours including 11 on Saturday at my store, 6 days a week. All successful sales reps are shady thieves who are accomplished at lying and stealing sales from other reps. My own manager stole my sales. In the year I was there, almost every person got fired or quit, including the managers, they get fired a lot. They will fire you for no reason if they don't like you or don't want you there. Little to no training. About 40% of their stone tile is out of stock. On the rare chance it's in stock, all of the accessories are out of stock. It's like trying to sell a car while being out of stock of wheels, seats, and half the motor. You have to tell clients their tile might be available in about three months. Poor benefits. Less than zero job security. The management team is a frat house, preferring 20-30 year old white males only. Because they only care about money, they promote good sales reps, not people who are good managers. The company cares only about making money completely devoid of any good business practices. If you're a depraved money grubbing, back stabbing, thief, they'd love to have you!

Pros

If you enjoy sales and working long hours you can make a great living without having any real experience.

Cons

This job is 100% commission. The hours are long, the store is open 7 days a week. It is nearly impossible to take vacation since during that vacation you are not making any sales, hence no pay when you return. Corporate policies were arbitrary and counterproductive in my opinion. I also do not believe corporate really cared much about most of its lower level employees.
