The people and the family atmosphere. The ability to join a lot of fun and exciting projects. The opportunity to advance quickly.

Cons

There is so much to do, that sometimes you can get so engrossed in your work that you lose your work-life balance.

Pros

Zappos is a great place to work for several reasons. First, your co-workers are amazing! They have created a wonderful environment that you feel comfortable to be in. The company is constantly looking for ways to show their employees they are appreciated. And maybe best of all is you get a sweet discount on all merchandise!

Cons

Zappos.com is still a growing company. Therefore, if you cant deal with a little bit of chaos and disorganization then it is probably not the place for you. They do not currently offer tuition reimbursement which would be a nice perk for student-employees. Sometimes it was difficult to find the correct balance of how to push yourself in such a laid-back environment.

Pros

The environment is great. Management acknowledges the hard work of the working class employees that are the backbone of the operations.

Cons

The 365 day work environment is hard for many. You need to get used to working on weekends and working the occasional 12 hour day (especially during peak season) but this is countered by the great work relations of you have with team members, so work isn't an annoyance at all.
