There are some great and caring people who work fit ThedaCare.

Cons

Leadership only has the bottom line in mind, despite all claims otherwise. Constantly increasing expectations and workloads without increase in pay or support.

Amazing co-workers, the only reason people stick around.

Cons

Management and leadership are clueless about bedside nursing and they are making changes that negatively effect our work. The CEO is the biggest problem, he needs to stop hiring his friends who don’t care about our organization. They keep taking away any “perk” we use to have. No incentives to pick up. Pay is low for the Valley. Benefits are a joke. Always short staffed.

ThedaCare is truly committed to its team members, as evidenced by the fact that ThedaCare did not furlough any team members during the COVID-19 pandemic, while most other health systems have. Pros

The job was good. Most of the co-workers were good to work with. I had a little more learning curve on the tools I worked on and they were there to help. Flexibility was a good benefit

Cons

Supervisor played favorites and protected who they liked. Didn't listen to staff on concerns, which made for a tough environment to work in. They claim a work-life balance but it wasn't there. Used to have team building events, and those went away Compensation was good, but minimal bonuses
