Pros

Great set of kids to work with. This field over all gives you an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience while working with Special need children. The pay is very good compared to a lot of ABA clinics. You also meet great workers that are motivated to work and help each client individually.

Cons

Therapy and Beyond has Cons that allow workers and kids to leave the company continuously. The turn over rate is extremely high and this clinic has lost great therapist d/t management control. They have lots of hidden policies and lots of undercover rules that is either created at last minute or never discussed until a possible disciplinary action is involved. The inconsistency is very bad and it effects each client at the clinic. There's unlicensed therapist as well as not certified behavioral therapist that works in the clinic and has to teach themselves the knowledge of working with autistic children. The turn over rate is Extremely high and it won't change if they continue to have the Director that works there currently. They also lie to parents a lot in regards to treatment and show little concern with the clients therapy and benefit to the company. Too much popularity and small talk when a worker is not doing a good job, that can be due to poor training. etc........

Pros

Overall a great learning experience & loved working with the kids and my coworkers. Very competitive pay considering I started at entry level.

Cons

Lack of effective communication, meetings, and looked down on by higher ups. Was never compensated for the mandatory 40 hours of training completed for my job.

Pros

The kids and the bonds you make.

Cons

Minor communication exists in the company in Colorado. NET is wonderful! Letting children run around AND continuing to run the same programs that have been mastered for weeks is not. It shocks me knowing anyone who earned their BCBA took OBM courses and LEARNED how to give feedback according to OBM research, didn’t give 4:1 (postive: constructive) she solely gave negative and how to fix it. I only heard/received positive messages from parents which kept me going. Management killed it. Hopefully where it began in Texas can teach Colorado:/
