Pros

Autonomy, constant growth opportunities, work from home, great team lead, collaborative environment

Cons

Start up mentality - can be a pro or a con, depending on perspective - but adds an element of risk and scrappiness. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't.

Pros

When I started here 5 years ago there were less than 50 employees. Today there are around 200. That's huge growth in a short time, but the company has managed to balance that growth with staying true to the culture that made it such a great place to be. It's a great product, but what makes this company so special is the people. Everyone here, from leadership to individual contributors lives by the guiding principle of 'extraordinary respect' in dealing with customers and colleagues, and it shows. There are so many positives about working at ThoughtExchange: remote work, contribution-based stock option plans, competitive salaries, flex time, and an absolutely incredible 'People Team' who help and support employees from Day 1 of onboarding and through your entire time here. And ThoughtExchange is deeply committed to ADEI and creating a safe, inclusive workspace. This is a GREAT company.

Cons

This is not really a 'con' but perhaps just a heads up for potential employees. ThoughtExchange is still an investment driven startup and as such, there's a lot of pivoting and flux in the product and market direction, so things can change very quickly. It's the proverbial 'fast-paced environment' that you see in so many job postings. But this is the reality of being in an exciting, growing company...and it can be either a lot of fun, or very stressful, depending on your personality and tolerance for change.

Leaders in Respect and Collaboration

Pros

As a company with a large portion of the employees working remotely, Thoughtexchange has collaboration down to a art. Many projects run just as smoothly as though everyone was working face to face and side by side. This is largely in part to their outstanding efforts to bring everyone together as a community. They preach respect and generous assumptions, and I'm happy to say that everyone truly does practice what they preach.

Cons

Sometimes remote work can feel a bit isolating, but there are many resources available to employees to feel more connected.
