Pros

- really focused on making a difference in education and genuinely helping leaders make an impact in their communities - everyone here is mostly caring and empathetic - no toxic sales culture at the moment and really down to earth folks - flexible with time off and work hours - ability to work from anywhere for the most part - good pay

Cons

- no growth opportunities at all and no pathways to even grow laterally - product team isn’t aligned with customer needs - a lot of female senior leaders have been burnt out and left or fired - not a good place if you’re a female wanting to go up in the corporate ladder - haven’t figured out how to scale without pouring so much money into in person events and conferences - no RRSP matching - limited coverage for counselling - no eye care

Pros

Having 30+ years of tech experience, from Fortune 100 companies to small startups, I can safely say that Thoughtexchange has a pretty unique & amazing culture of support, openness, transparency, and respect for the team. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else.

Cons

The (mostly) virtual environment might not work for some

Pros

Great trust in employees, flexibility in working from home, lots of opportunity to learn and grow, great team members, work with awesome customers. It is definitely an entrepreneurial culture and there is tons of room to contribute/shape the future for those who love doing that!

Cons

It is best for people who don't need stability. By that I mean, we adapt quickly and change is constant. This is exciting for some and unsettling for others. You also have to be able to work from home most of the time, though we are opening offices in main cities.
