Pros

Active CEO's- very nice, however neglect certain areas that need more concentration. Aka membership services The kitchen is nice, and the office is pretty

Cons

Membership services a mess- 1) pay rates are the same even if you are a college grad or high school grad 2) management treat employees with a negative attitude- concentrates on the negatives- NEVER THE POSITIVE 3) management- only 1 supervisor graduated from a credible college- the rest did not. Many management do not know how to use basic functions on the computer, or have ANY leadership skills-proving there is act of favoritism with the director. ( believe me- they will deny it, you will see it if you witness their work ethic)

Pros

Cool office, cool branding, free snacks and lunch is provided. I also met some great people here. It's hard to make friends in LA but I did here! Haha

Cons

The Member Services department is super micromanaged. We get in trouble for leaving our desk to use the bathroom. It's gone as far as supervisors following specialists to the kitchen to ask us if we're on our break or even to tell us we're not supposed to be there. I understand the need for rules, but this sort of stuff is unspoken. You should trust me to be an adult. We receive grades for our work which aren't always clear and the criteria aren't written anywhere for us to (easily) reference all the time. Most of the time my supervisor can't even tell me why I got the grade I did, which is an issue for me because this affects my bonus' and I can get written up for bad scores. The onboarding process was so exciting because this seemed like such a cool and refreshing company. I was also told its super easy to grow here (also not very true) Unfortunately the pay is not worth the strife and I will be leaving as soon as I find something else.

Best Job I've Ever Had

Pros

I've learned more in the year that I've been here than I have at my previous two jobs combined (4 yrs). This is a company that is really going places and it has been very exciting to watch it grow. - New ideas are always welcomed and explored - Everyone is very passionate and innovative. - You learn so much about the Natural Foods industry, business, startups, and a lot about whichever department your in of course. - Office is beautiful

Cons

- While this is the best job I've ever had, there is definitely some strange tension between corporate and member services. The management on that team needs some serious restructuring. As mentioned on the other reviews, many of the MS folks don't feel comfortable asking questions or talking to people in other departments. - Almost all top-level management are males... - Salary could be more competitive
