Pros

- For someone who is self-motivated and likes to make progress on their own, this is an awesome place to work. You're helping to build and create something here, and there is room to explore so many different ways of doing that. All ideas are welcome and you're encouraged to try new things. - Employees are some of the smartest, most accomplished and driven people around. It's a fun work environment and colleagues genuinely care about each other. - There is a lunch program every day, unlimited vacation time and pretty decent maternity leave. - You develop an impressive and broad skillset when you're working at a company growing this fast; there's always more to learn and more to do. - They are working to bring access to healthy food to everyone in the US, which is something employees can really get behind and feel good about.

Cons

- It's a startup, so someone who needs structure and defined processes might not feel like they're able to do their best work in this environment, or might feel frustrated at ever-changing priorities. - Also in classic startup fashion, people work long hours. They're in early, they leave late and there isn't a ton of flexibility on working remotely. -The healthcare plan could be improved.

Pros

Thrive Market is place to build and grow. The company is rapidly expanding, so if you're up for the fast pace and a chance to do your part in building the company, then this is the right environment for you. The Marina del Rey office is in "Silicon Beach" so expect an office full of self-starters/hard workers in a laid-back environment. Competitive pay, free Thrive Market membership, healthy catered lunches, healthy lifestyle/culture encouraged, volunteer opportunities and more. It seems that the common value among employees is that they're looking for a healthy work/life balance. This is real here. Employees go to yoga or go running on their lunch breaks, regularly!

Cons

Because the company is growing quickly, the culture is catching-up to it. Not a letdown, it will get there in time.
