Pros

Working at Thrive Market has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The team is truly values-driven — the mission to make healthy living accessible is more than just words. It shows up in the business decisions, product curation, member experience, and how people treat one another internally. The company strikes a rare balance of being ambitious and people-centered. It’s fast-paced and results-driven, but there’s also deep respect for personal growth, flexibility, and work-life balance. Leadership is accessible and open to feedback. Some of the best cross-functional collaboration I’ve ever seen happens here — sharp thinkers, low ego, and a collective willingness to roll up sleeves and do what’s needed. I also appreciated the intentional focus on DEI, sustainability, and wellness benefits that actually feel relevant. Thrive walks the talk.

Cons

10 years in it still in many ways operates like a startup environment, so things move quickly and priorities can shift. That’s exciting for some, but could be challenging if you’re looking for a more slow-moving environment.

Mission-Driven Company with Great Culture

Pros

Really like my team. Have had a lot of support for my career goals. Flexible WFH for most corporate roles. Great people. The company is working hard to make a difference and improve access to healthy goods. Execs are smart and good at their roles. There's money available for growth (certifications, courses, conferences, etc).

Cons

There's aspects of the culture that vary significantly depending on department, team, or manager. The compensation is not the most competitive. During certain periods, work life balance is bad and there's not a ton of understanding from management about it.
