Pros

Admirable mission, nice office space, some nice people.

Cons

The founders refuse to believe that they might learn from the experts they hire beneath them. They instead force their own agendas, opinions, and assumptions (often based on no actual experience or knowledge) on these experts shamelessly. The way they disregard the recommendations and expertise of the people below them is a gross display of narcissism. I've never seen anything like it, and it's going to destroy them. These sorts of complaints began more than a couple years ago, so I can't imagine they'll be changing their ways anytime soon or at all.

Pros

Awesome office space. Free lunch everyday. Cool branding.

Cons

Don't be fooled - all of these super positive and campy reviews are so obviously fabricated by directors and managers who currently work at Thrive Market. If you like to be micromanaged to the point of insanity.. then this is the place for you! If you want to feel used and undervalued.. then this place is for you! From director level and below, the management sucks. Nobody knows what they're doing and/or how to properly train a new employee. I understand it's a "start-up" but the start up phase is long gone for this company and they need to stop using it as an excuse for crappy internal business practices with no structure whatsoever. Employee retention is the worst I've ever seen. There is no "company culture". The current "company culture" is filled with forced employee programming, disgusting "organic" snacks, fake greetings, forced small talk, and out of office "coffee meetings" with the same 5 employees all day, every day. The only reason why I'm giving Thrive Market 2 stars is because I believe in the company's overall vision and the ethics/values of the CEO. Although, it's a shame that there is virtually no interaction between the executives and the rest of the office. Thrive Market is a flawless business model from a consumers prospective, but it is an absolute mess internally.

Pros

Really cool, open ended position. Part of the pilot program for testing out college ambassadors. Allowed us to figure out ways to market Thrive Market to peers.

Cons

None that I can recall. Everyone was super helpful and communicative.
