TierPoint facilities are well maintained and supported by a strong backbone of experienced technicians.

Cons

Management, especially as you go up the ladder, is motivated towards optimizing their end of year bonuses. This is at the expense of the non-salaried employees' morale and wages. Starting at TierPoint, you will see upper management receive accolades and wealth while your work earns you an noncompetitive, industry standard raise.

Local team is good to work with. Climate controlled building.

Cons

Pay is not good enough for the area and does not meet industry standards. Most management is out of touch with the people under them. Management is highly motivated to cut costs. Low morale due to cost cutting measures. No career pathways. No learning or education is provided.

Don't plan to stay long term

Pros

Great colleagues. Investments have been made in the data centers to keep them certified.

Cons

CEO is out of touch with what is truly going on at the data center level. Management takes time off at will but want employees to find their own replacements when we want to take our PTO. Raises are nonexistent or pitiful. Layoffs + turnover leaves us exhausted. This isn't the company you'll want to work for long term.
