Pros

I might be able to improve my immunology by catching COVID.

Cons

Leadership is fixated on old business rules of being in the office and is willing to sacrifice the safety of their employees for the sake of that. A better policy would be to allow those people who need to come in the office or prefer to work in the office to come in and be distant while allowing those who can do their job productively from home to stay home. That would be a more "Mind over Risk" approach. Instead, they want people to come in twice a week moving from WFH to office context every other day with no exceptions. Even while in the office they don't want us to interact or have meetings so what's the point of coming into the office other than attempting to give us all COVID? They aren't even going to provide masks for people. If you are a prospective employee know that this company won't put you or your safety above their notion of "getting people back to work in the office because that's where the business is done". Inept CEO and President would not recommend working here.

Pros

Some of the people throughout Corporate and the company are great to work with. Nice charity support. Interesting company/product offerings.

Cons

Management will micromanage all you do and insist you prioritize work over personal obligations. They have no empathy and are demeaning, degrading, and disrespectful. They pressure you until you just don’t care anymore. Few opportunities for advancement. Not family or working mom friendly. They have lost many GREAT employees due to mistreatment during the pandemic. Top talent gone! This is pervasive in many departments.

Pros

40 hours per week or less, easy to get to your office from parking lot, free coffee, holiday party.

Cons

Campus located in bad area of town, not an area you want to be around in outside of the fence perimeter (day or night). Very diverse company overall, but Mgmt. and Upper Mgmt. mainly all White (just an observation). Cafeteria is kind of a joke, with very limited food options. Very limited allowance to work from home, and generally frowned upon. Salary below average, bonus either non-existent or very below average. Seating arrangement very stuffy and desks very small for non-Managers. No covered parking for non-Managers so you will get drenched in the rain. Management very secretive, doesn't convey corporate actions around immediate team very effectively, and keeps you guessing. Onboarding too intensive and too invasive. Too many rules to follow and sign-off on (including your car can be searched at any time). Would not recommend working here unless you are starving for a paycheck and have looked for a very long time elsewhere with no offers available. Don't say I didn't warn!!
