Pros

Since it is sales you are in control of your own salary and you have the opportunity to make a lot of money. You are not sitting behind a desk all day- instead you are interacting and helping dress the most successful men and women in your city. The product we sell is a good quality product that I feel confident selling my clients. You really feel like you are running your own business within a business. The company really cares about you and wants to build you as a person. You are an owner in the company early on and have a chance to build your net worth, Great incentives for working hard. There is also a lot of recognition for doing well and hitting your incentives. You don't feel as if you just a number.

Cons

One of the positives of this job is that you are in control of your own salary but it can also be a con since you are commission and if you don't hustle and sell you won't make money. The pay scale is the same no matter what city you are in so if you are in NYC or London and sell the same as someone in Kansas or somewhere the Midwest you are making the same even though the cost of living is substantially different. No reimbursement for business expenses (cabs, subways, gas, ect.). All business expenses are just considered a tax write off.

Pros

job to put on a resume

Cons

hire and hire and hire sales people but do not update the factories, so far from custom. It seems as if Tom James as of recent has asked employees in all aspects to post positive reviews on their behalf. The company is designed to fill the pockets of the top share holders. They will hire nearly anyone and do a terrible job of being transparent as to what the job truly entails. the "base' the offer to new employees is fake and predatory. Its a sliding scale/draw in which many cases you wind up owing the company.

Pros

Nice clothing. Excellent benefits for the family. Nice reward trips.

Cons

Leadership is terrible. They say one thing and they do another. It's almost like a pyramid scheme. You have to pay for everything from your business cards, your gas, your cell phone. Pretty much everything. Leaders only care about themselves. It's dog ear dog and survival of the fittest basically. your accounts and referrals will get taken from you. You get lied to routinely. The majority of the company makes less than 60,000.
